Our story
An old house becomes the holiday house “Zur schönen Aussicht”.

How it all began
The holiday house was built in the post-war years, as were many of the houses immediately nearby. It therefore forms part of a more recent area of residential development in Königstein above the Elbe valley. In March 2012, Sandro Fuchs bought the house next door to his parents. Both the building and the garden needed extensive work. He began the renovation together with his father.

From demolition to rebuilding
Spruce trees, concrete and old fittings had to go. Much of the work was done by hand, with a wheelbarrow and demolition hammer. Renovation included a cistern and a new terrace behind the house.

A lasting memory
The holiday house also honours Sandro’s father. His help and their work together made this place possible. The family remembers him with love and gratitude.

And today …
Today, the holiday house welcomes guests in two apartments, which can also be booked together as the whole house. The story of the work done together remains part of this place.
